And you thought it’d be a strip about Michael Jackson or Billy Mays! Hah! Gotcha.
This strip illustrates how we sometimes fail to understand what someone else is getting at. Sometimes this lack of understanding involves slow moving, tree dwelling mammals.
I’m trying to see if I’m able to do comics twice a week, at the moment. Ideally, I would love to do them three times a week, but I spend a lot of time on the artwork so that may not be possible what with work and school. I will have to consult Sasquatch to see if I have the time.
I worked hard on this strip to see if I could push the look of it a little further and I’m pretty pleased with the result. I mean, sure it’s just a goofy comic strip, but I like to spend time to give it a little extra something in the looks department.

Always thought your puny God was pretty judgemental. Also Thor approves!
I am loving your art, SO HARD right now. The shadows and textures pop especially well, and DAMMIT EVERYTHING IS ADORABLE FAAAUGH
I want MC’s massive zipper. ://D
well you have to understand, sloths are notorious for their awful smoking habits
Ha ha ha. Sloths. Very good.
Just discovered your comic and I wanted to say I love it.
Hereabouts lies awesomeness on a number of levels. It’s like a big, awesome onion. 5 thumbs up!
HAHA! Thats great! That sloth is really adorible too…
Where do you get jackets with zips that looks like a tie!? That is brilliant!
Also, looks can be decieving! Don’t trust that sloth! The second you turn your heiny to that adorable little leaf-eating abomination, it’ll… um… eat lie around and eat leaves?
Sloths are ridiculous cute and they hardly ever poop!
Funny strip– I liked it– but for future reference the 7 Deadly Sins are never mentioned in the Bible. They were outlined by Pope Gregory 1 in 590.
ha ha ha, i just started browsing through your stuff, and i think that this is one of my favorites so far. Excellent job, keep up the good work. I never really thought of sloth this way =)
Sloth in the bible came first, I think. Blame the Europeans who discovered sloths.
Sloths are actually violent, usually only the three toed kind. You expect them to be cute and slow like the two toed verity, the BAM! a minute later its tiny needle-like teeth are digging in to your jugular and its three massive claws, mistaken for long, curved fingers, are ripping your eyes out. True facts, I saw it on TV.
I assume that the book in panel 1 is supposed to be The Bible. If so, can I just point out that the ‘Seven Deadly Sins’ is not mentioned in The Bible. In fact, the word ‘sloth’ does not appear in The Bible (although the word slothful does.)
